Red wines

  • The World – basic with four grapes from four continents. (Spain – Tempranillo, USA – Zinfandel, Chile – Cabernet Sauvignon, South Africa – Pinotage)
  • Italian reds – Four Italian red wines from Apulia (Primitivo), Tuscany (Sangiovese), Piedmont (Barbera) and Valpolicella (Amarone)
  • Spanish reds – Wines from Rioja, Navarra, Jumilla and Catalonia.
  • Rioja – Only red Rioja wines: one Crianza, two Reserva and one Gran Reserva
  • French reds – Red wine focusing solely on France: wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Provence and Rhône.
  • Bordeaux – Only red wines from Bordeaux of various ages and price ranges.
  • Burgundy – Only red wines from Burgundy of various ages and price ranges.
  • South African reds – South African reds from the most important districts, mainly the Pinotage and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
  • South American reds – Chilean and Argentine red wines from the Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
  • Australian reds – Australian reds from the most important districts, mainly the Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes
  • Cabernet Sauvignon from four different countries around the world.

White wines

  • The World – White wines with Chardonnay from France, Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa, Semillon from Australia and Gewürztraminer from New Zealand.
  • French whites – White wines from Alsace, Loire, Chablis and Bordeaux.
  • Alsace – Only wines from Alsace of the grapes Tokay-Pinot Gris, Riesling, Muscat and Gewürztraminer.
  • Spanish whites – White wines from Rioja, Rias Baixas, La Mancha and Jerez.
  • Sherry – From the driest to the sweetest.

Dessert wines

  • Sweet white wines from France, Austria, Hungary and Germany.

Sparkling wines

  • Sparkling wines; we taste both Champagne (France) and Crémant (France) as well as sparkling from South Africa and Australia.
  • Champagne with four genuine Champagnes including both vintage Champagne and “Blanc de blancs” (made solely from the Chardonnay grape).

Rosé wines

  • The World – Rosé wines from Spain, USA, South Africa, Australia.
  • France – Only French rosé wines.

Glasses

  • We examine the importance of the glass for how we experience the wine. The same wine is tasted in different glasses.

Beer

  • Two lagers (bottom-fermented) and three ales (top-fermented).
  • Lager – Only bottom-fermented beers.
  • Ale – Only top-fermented beers.

Whisky/Whiskey

  • The World – Both blended and single malt from Scotland, Ireland, the USA and India.
  • Single malt with only Scotch single malt from the sub-districts Lowland, Highland, Speyside and Islay.
  • Bourbon with four typical Bourbons.

Punch

  • Punch with both drier and sweeter varieties.

Cognac / Wine distillates

  • The World – Wine distillates from France, Spain, Italy
  • Four Cognacs of various ages.

Chocolate

  • The most common beans, all with a cocoa content over 68%.

Cheese

  • The World – Cheeses from France, Italy, Spain and Sweden.
  • France – Only French cheeses.
  • Italy – Only Italian cheeses.
  • Sweden – Only Swedish cheeses.
  • Blue cheese tasting – Only blue cheeses from various countries.
